Future Build

Thanks for the feedback. I really do like the case for many reason, it's a bit pricey, but I'm going to stick with it.I don't plan on doing any serving hosting with this computer. At least not in the foreseeable future. That CPU cooler looks nice, but I'm not a fan of that color scheme on it. I'll look around for one, though. I'm currently using an OCZ SSD in my laptop, and I'm really pleased with the results.I'll compare the one I chose with the ones you recommended and see how they stack up.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133188 Actually,I might get this case instead. It's the same case, but a different color and about a 100 dollars cheaper.

The sniper RAM is good, not bad CAS, the spead is good, the voltage is good, and the price is fine. I agree with TallGreese on most stuff, except the CPU fan, I would only get one if you want to overclock, or don't like the look of the intel one.

Remeber with most of these parts (RAM, memory, GPU, CPU heatsink etc.) can be upgraded and don't need to be maxed now, maybe upgrade when you really want the proformance, like an extra couple gigs for hosting, or a heatsink for overclocking.

Also, nice case I might get that, its on sale btw; thats why.

Edit: Seriosly though, have you looked at the never settle?

That case is cheaper cause it is plastic, not steel. not saying it is bad or not worth it, just be warned it will be a little bit more fragile, it is a very nice case nevertheless.

some plastic, but also steal as with any case, I wil have to do more research/reading before I commit.

I didn't know what never settle was until I checked out that link. That's a pretty good deal that I'm going to consider.

Ya, and the 7970 and 680 are pretty similar in proformance. Though Nvidia does have CUDA and better 3D as well as "physX" which sortof helps in some games.

Those reasons are why I tend to favor Nvidia over AMD. I've used EVGA products in the past and have been really satisfied by them.

Different SSD maybe, I really like ADATA's and Samsungs, I suggest http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211596 .

I suggest an XFX 7970 GPU, but a 680 is cool too!

A different case would be cool but if you're set on a 300$ case go for it.

Exceeding the bounds and keeping it quiet and cool are two very different things. Stock coolers are not very quiet. I believe you should almost always run aftermarket (even a 212) unless its absolutly out of the budget.
