I am aware that the front 3.5mm mic and headphone audio ports on the front of a computer case are usually inferior to those found on the rear of the case, due to electrical interference. Is this also true with regard to the front USB? The reason I ask is I plan on connecting a USB microphone into my computer. Thanks in advance for any responses.
You'll be safe, a PC doesn't generate nearly enough interference to mess up digital signals
So long as it has a solid connection, it's fine. Like Baz said, it's a digital signal, so it's not as prone to em interference as analog signals.
Okay thank you both for you input, I really appreciate it. This is real handy to know for when my mic needs to be moved away from my computer for whatever reason and no longer reaches the rear ports.
