Front panel pins question

I hope you’re all well.
I was hoping someone could help answer a question regarding front panel pins on a Lenovo E73 (H81M) motherboard. The pinout is the following:
Pin 1 - HDD LED -
Pin 2 - HDD LED +
Pin 3 - Unused
Pin 4 - Unused
Pin 5 - PWR LED -
Pin 6 - Unused
Pin 7 - PWR LED +
Pin 8 - Unused
Pin 9 - PWR Switch +
Pin 10 - Unused
Pin 11 - PWR Switch -
Pin 12 - Unused

While I was testing the board I successfully shorted the two PWR Switch pins to turn on, as usual.
When I went to turn off, instead of just pulling the plug on the PSU, I tried to short the PWR Switch pins again. Mistakenly, in a rush, I accidentally shorted the wrong pins (either 7 and 9 or 8 and 7 I can’t recall). It started to spark, but kept running. I turned it off, to check for any burnt smells, but didn’t notice anything.
The board boots fine, and the LEDs and PWR button are fine, but I’m just wondering if anyone could help me understand how big of a risk of damaging anything is there.

Thank you!
