Front panel connector not responding

So I just bought this used Asus board for my i5 2500k because the last board died on me. The mobos green power light turns on but the cpu fan or gpu fan won’t turn on. I’ve tried pluging the front panel connector in, and I even tried using a screw driver to trigger the boot. Here is the board:

What do you think are the chances the pins are messed up? This has never happened to me before and I’m likely to bring it to a shop this monday.

Did you plug in the 4-pin connector on the top left of the CPU?
People often forget this, and then the PC simply won’t boot because the CPU gets no power.

Yeah I did this I’m pretty sure this board is faulty I asked the retailer for a replacement.
