Freezing?

Im not sure what to call it ,ill say freezing.. my computer likes to do this thing where ill be in the middle of doing something and ill lose video and usb and wont be able to turn off using power button so the only option is to turn off psu.. the only thing that i think it could be is when i boot the american trends thing says cmos is wrong, ive tried to reset the motherboard by taking out the battery for a while but when i boot back up it says the same thing.  ive tried changing the settings back to default and that seems to get rid of the cmos is wrong message but computer keeps on "freezing".

There should be an option with the motherboard to clear the cmos. Mine has a button near the I\O but I'm pretty sure that there should be an option in your BIOS to clear it. 

I'll search about cmos clearing for ECS boards and comment later if I'm able to find out anything. Hope this helped.
