Some strange readings in there.
Whats up with the seek & read error counts?
Wondering if the data is corrupt, or the drive is dying! Be worth investigating that. I notice no sectors have been reallocated... cables ok? Be worth replacing it's SATA cable, they can introduce CRC errors.

Here is one of my drives:

I have no idea. It's still under warranty, would this be enough to warrant a return?

The cable is a SAS to 4x SATA cable, if i look at other drives they have much better looking stats.

I don't know about warranty returns based on that. You could ask the question.

You could perhaps swap the SATA plugs between two of the drives and see if the problem moves to the other drive. If it does, bad cable. If not, bad drive.

It shouldn't mess up the ZFS pool, since the drives are tagged and it knows where they fit in.

Okay, I have done that, copied some data to and from and started a scrub.

Within 5 hours The Raw_Read_Error_Rate has increased by 39 000 000 and Seek_Error_Rate has increased 1 000 000

All my other drives look perfect even after swapping the cables.

See if you can replace the drive.

On another tangent to the FreeNAS Corral thread, if you want more docker contains try adding the linuxserver collection.

It can be a bit trickier to install the containers from this collection. I have found the following steps work best:

  1. Add a container, pick the linuxserver collection, and select a container from the list.
  2. Set the network bridge settings as required
  3. Set the appropriate environment settings from the readme.
  4. Leave autostart disabled for now.
  5. Save the container.
  6. Set up the disk mappings.
  7. Select autostart if needed under advanced, and save again.
  8. It should start up.

If you try and get the disk mappings initially, it seems to ignore them and it is a pain to stop it, fix the settings, and get it going again.
