Freenas 9.3 boot device experienced an error resulting in data corruption

Hey there,

I am running my Freenas 9.3 for about 6 mounths now, even bought HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 for it. Everything was running smoothly until recently, when Freenas startet mailing me critical alert:

The boot volume state is ONLINE: One or more devices has
experienced an error resulting in data corruption. Applications may be affected.

My server config is:

CPU: Intel® Pentium® G2020T (2 core, 2.5 GHz, 3MB, 35W)
RAM: 4GB (1x4GB) UDIMM 2R x8 PC3-12800E-11
HDD: (2) LFF SATA; 1TB non-hot plug drives
BOOT device: Kingston 8GB DataTraveler SE9 USB

The ram is ECC, so how have this corruption occured? What am I to do with it? Is there an easy way to repair? Do I need to install on new USB and transfer config?
I know that 8 GB is the new minimum, but could this be the cause? I am planning on upgrading to 4x 2TB WD REDs and 16 GB of RAM when deal occures or I have the money.

Everything is running smoothly, the web GUI works, all plugins work too, data transfers work too. It's just that I'm worried that one day it all just stop working all the sudden.

Well the solution was quiet easy.

  1. Save Config under System -> General
  2. Install FreeNAS on another USB
  3. Skip wizard and Upload Config again under System -> General

It even restored my plugins in jails to their's previous state.

I knew this procedure would work, just hoped that someone more experienced would assure me or tell me how to repair the 2 corrupted files.
