Free VPN services

It has been a while that I used VPN but now I need it again but it turns out all the my free VPN services stopped working or seem to be incompatible with win8 etc

So I ask you guys which free VPN services you use or recommend, I need Russia, UK, USA, China, Egypt, Netherlands, Germany, France and India, Canada, Australia would be useful too

I have no money to pay for them yet they have to hide everything including credit card info of course, thanks in advance.

The only free one i can think of that has Free servers in most of those countries is Cyberghost VPN.  They have a windows client You can download from, http://cyberghostvpn.com  Keep in mind it will disconnect you after 3hrs of use and you will have to manually reconnect. You can use their client without making an account. And they do not keep logs of any kind that can identify its users.

I don't know about free vpn services but Private Internet Access https://www.privateinternetaccess.com is only 35/year and they're amazing. I have Google Fiber(1Gbp/s down/up) here in the USA and i can get nearly all of that bandwidth through Private Internet Access, their servers are fast and have tons of bandwidth. You can also use it on pretty much any device.

Any1 have exp with hotspot shield? Linus has been promoting it the past few months...

I have not used it myself yet, but it seem to be working well

I had the free hotspot but it did not really hide enough for me, thanks for the info sam576 but hamachi and gamefly are not the best friends and sadly I don't have a main PC only a laptop

Cyberghosts5 does not work with my internet at home like many servers but elsewhere its useful

If Cyberghost did not work with your internet at home, It could be because you are useing your ISP's Dns servers? Try changeing your dns servers in your main network connection to either Google Public Dns servers, 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4  Or use OpenNic, which is what i use. Since you can choose from a whole list of Dns servers, And see their logging policy as well. http://www.opennicproject.org  

Another free Vpn service is SpotFlux. (Us Servers only) I wouldnt use them for anything Shadey tho.

If something is free you have to wonder how they are paid.

No doubt lots of stuff in the fine print that would make using a vpn useless most likely.
