Fractal Design Core 1000/3000

Hey guys should I just get the 1000 for my matx build or the 3000 for more upgrading options?

CPU: AMD FX6300

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX

Memory: G-Skill RipJaws X 1866MHz CL9 8GB

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 64MB

Video Card: XFX 7870 2GB GDDR5 1GHz

Case: Fractal Design Core 3000

PSU: Seasonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224 24x DvD+-RW

Thanks!

I would get the 3000 if you can but if you go over budget get the 1000,

the 1000 is a really clean nice case for the money :)

Thanks!

Im picking up a Core 1000 for an old build, but the 3000 will definitley hold more of an upgrade path, but is it really worth the cost that you could put into buying better components ?

The 1000 costs $55 whereas the the 3000 costs $89 here. So hmm, either way I couldn't really buy any better components anyhow. And the good motherboards are in ATX for my AMD set up so yeah. I'm thinking of changing the motherboard to Gigabyte GA-970A-D3.

Oh, well in that case the Core 3000 is definitley what id go for, where im from the Core 1000 is only 40$

Id definitley go for a new 9xx Chipset though, in the long run it will be a lot better for you.

Yeah I'm thinking of it too.

I don't really see the difference in the price points between the 2 cases unless it's the 3000 with usb3. From what I've seen with price points with the 3000 with usb3 you might as well get the define case since it's a better build quality. Either choice it's a 20lb case. GL with your build. :D

I just bought a Core 2000, £50 - has space for extra drives and for cooling fans

There's no such model here in Singapore.
