SCSI flash storage in a custom bracket, mounted in a system intended for water coiling. That’s just the perfect frankenstein addition to a powerful all business pc in a flashy case

For me, looks like a good workstation case if there’s no need for 5.25’’ bays or ridiculous amounts of 3.5’’ drives.

I’d definitely use this to mass build workstations for a corporate client.

Why? It’s exactly the same as 90% of the cases, released in the last 2-3 years…
Closed off front, glass side panel, power supply shroud, vertical GPU mounts…
The only difference is, this case is 150$…
Hell, the Define R6 offers way more features and is exactly the same case if you push the HDD panel to the back…

I’d prefer this for 3D rendering workstations if I have to build 50 of them, cause I don’t need to move back the panel for 3 3.5’’ HDDs, and the stock fan config is more than enough. Define R6 is wasted metal for the 3.5’’ cages if you can only use 2 after moving the wall back.

Moving the wall back x50, and you get the idea.

Why don’t you use the standard Define S? It will be way cheaper… Also there are like 100 different cases that are exactly the same as this one…

Airflow claims are better on the new one, since it’s only meshing the intakes directly rather than at the fans. Makes it easier to clean cause you won’t have to deal with dust at the vent holes unfiltered. I have used a Define C Mini and it had this problem when you use high airflow.

Keep in mind, I’m talking corporate client builds where money really isn’t a obstacle, but I want it to look like a solid workstation.

IDK… I really dislike the new Fractal cases… R6 was massive disappointment and now this is just R6 with less options.
I could be wrong though, cause I watched couple reviews, stating this case have more options than R6…
