Ok So I was planning a build using the Intel Xeon 1230v5 until I read that Intel had locked those down to server chipsets. So I was fooling around on pcpartpicker, and put in the 1230v5 and went to select a mother board, for laughs thinking nothing would show up, but then a whole lot of boards with the B150 chipset appeared.
Does anyone know if this is accurate or not?

Partpicker's only looking at the socket type I'd guess, from what I've read it only works with C236.

I saw that article too. Which is why I posted this.
EDIT: The thing that gets me is they don't list h170 or z170 yet they do list B150 so maybe pcpartpicker knows something we don't
RE EDIT:So told some of the staff what happened and they said that a mistake had been made. Damn was really hoping that could work. Guess it's back to waiting for Zen for me
