I'm a huge fan of the community, but feel like the fforums on the site are somewhat outdated. Have you guys considered using something like disquorse as a forum for the site?

I'd love to see this done. These forums don't really flow as easily as other sites forums. There are lots of options, phpBB or whatever else.
maybe you guys should do a full update of your site. you know, like fix stuff and delete,add forums. kinda like how apple transitioned from ios 6 to 7. It would be really cool to see something new.(not saying that your site layout is boring)

KAWF (http://sourceforge.net/projects/kawf/) is extremely basic/minimal, open source and very functional.
However, not quite as user friendly as current layout.
