Should you use a forum builder software or service, OR code it in php yourself? I see there are craploads of options out there for forum building, and coding it would take a heck lot of time, wouldn't it? What do you do if you wish to implement forums to a webpage?
Depends on experience you have and such.
MyBB and PHPBB and Drupal are a few good bases to start on....
i believe teksyndicate itself was done with Drupal
Its really not extremely hard. It could be done in about a day. Even just following tutorials. It really comes down to how experienced you are with MySQL and somewhat PHP. Or your ability and speed of learning.
