i recently upgraded to a ssd and want to format the old hhd.
the hdd was reformatted with windows cd but it still do not show up.
it shows up in device manager, but not in the computer part of windows.
please help me get my seagate 500 hdd running.
You can take a look at Computer > Manage>
look under the storage in Disk Management.
do you see the drive there. if yes you could bring it online from there.
ok i try giving a drive letter but that was done for something called system reserve
