I've been a huge fan of Eluveitie for a long time but it's pretty hard to find any other good folk metal bands :/ 

 

Any of you have suggestions to any good folk metal bands?

Finntroll, Glittertind, Nastrandir (is more like paganmetal but you might like it.), Alestorm(piratemetal).

Orphaned Land would be a good choice if you are willing to experiment. It's a melodic death metal band from Israel. They mix metal with oriental folk music.Apart from that, the suggestions from Kaos and Bat are quite awesome. Maybe some Battlelore? It's a cool band from Finnland.

+1 on Ensiferium.  Also try Nest and Kroda.

I know Arkona and Heidevolk as an addition. Heidevolk is a bit like trash metal with sometimes other instruments. their lyrics are about Germanic gods (they sing in Dutch)

I just noticed how many Finnish Bands make Folk Metal... At least four of those are from Finland.

i think this was the first folk metal song i ever heard. i love it. looking it up for you, i realized i haven't heard it in probably 6+ years XD
