Flac files from FL studio?

Hello, I love to listen to flac files as often as I can, and appreciate how I can do so with Zweihander. Here is my question though: I recall you saying you used FL Studio to create these songs. I also use FL studio to make some music.

As Far as I can tell, there is no way to export a song in flac format using that program. So how are you accomplishing this task? Are Zweihander's .flac format simply sudo-flac files ripped from MP3's (no better than mp3's themselves) or are they true production grade flac files? If so, please enlighten me as to how I can too, export in flac format.

Loving the new album, Thanks!

Export your mix as a wav file, then you can re-encode your wav output to flac with EAC (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) and you've got your flac files.

EAC will by default delete your original wav file but there's an option to uncheck to stop it from doing that.

yeah, of course you can convert. but then it's not a 'true' flac file, and wil not have the quality of a true flac file.

There's no such thing as a "true" flac file. That's how you get flacs from arrangements like that.

It makes no difference, and the quality will be the same, flac doesn't enhance quality, it stops the quality from degrading whilst being about to reduce to amount of space said file takes up (in layperson's terms).

How do you think you get flac files from audio CDs?
