I'm seeking advice on RAM to buy as well as the recommended budget cpu for a console killer/steam box build. Thanks in advance for any help!!
I would go with 8gb of 1600 or 1866 ram by G.Skill. I have used them in all my budget builds and haven't had a problem with any of the sticks I have purchased. You can usually get them for $40-50US multiple times a year when they go on shell shocker at Newegg. Your other components would all depends on your budget and what size you want your computer to be.
