First time gaming rig

Hi guys, I'm switching from console to pc, and I was wondering if this is a good build and wether or not it'll work.

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy

Proccessor: Intel I5-3570k

RAM: 2X4 Corsair RAM

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970

Hard drive: 1TB

Cooling: H80i Corsair water cooling

Power supply: Cooler Master GX-Lite 700W

Motherboard: Zotac z77-ITX WiFi

Total cost: 1066 Euro's (921 Pounds/1412 Dollars)

Will this build work? Is there anything I'm missing? Or are there other components that i could use that are cheaper and of the same/better quality?

Thanks in advance.

It should work, http://www.overclock.net/t/1274906/just-waiting-for-the-case-a-bitfenix-prodigy-build-complete/10 this is another build with your case, I think you have a better gpu though

Quite a nice build you got there, that'll be just fine to game with and great for multitasking with multiple things open at one time. And always remember, you can switch parts out, upgrade, and etc.. Welcome to endless customization on the PC haha.

looks good, only i  can advice you to chance the power suply. The CM GX-lite 700W  is not 80+ certified.

i had this psu in my build first, worked fine till i went to gaming. that thing starts too beep like hell it was realy struggeling with my  7870 gpu.

i chanced the psu to a 750W 80+ bronze and the problem was solved.

so if i may advice, select a 80+ certified psu arround 750W

80 plus is must, but platinum and gold dont make huge differences, all that matters is bronze and above imo

This would be my idea for a $1300 - $1400 Mini-ITX build.  I chose the Fractal Node over the Prodigy because it's smaller and more discrete but can still hold large graphics cards and can fit single fan water coolers.  I chose the EVGA 670FTW over the 7970 because I like the blower fan cooler better for this kind of case and the card is a bit quieter than the 7970's.  However if you like the 7970 than by all means go ahead and use it.

Using a 7970 instead of 670:
