First time building a PC. Requesting tips and also thoughts on build

Hello,

I have been playing PC games for a while now and kept telling myself to build a PC but i never got round to it. Well, now im up for it, and I am worried I will mess things up. Tips?

Build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/WwgvhM

try this version for size: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/tqN8CJ

It bumps the CPU up to an 8 core FX 8320 and gets a 990FX board and a nice CPU cooler. Changed the CASE to a nicer, more roomy case.
