First Time Build - Noob Alert

Hey Guys! I've always been a console gamer but I think it's time I switch to PC. I literally have NO idea how PC stuff works but after a couple of weeks of research, I've decided to go for the build below!

Note that I'm on a strict $850 budget. Please review it and comment whether its good or need some alterations:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2TO7v

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor = $219

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Vortex Plus 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler = $25

Motherboard: Asus H81M-C/CSM Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard = $66

Memory: Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory = $90

Storage: Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive = $82

GPU: HIS Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card = $170

Case: Cooler Master RC-430-KWN6 ATX Mid Tower Case = $50

PSU: Corsair Gaming 700W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply = $155

Total = $871

I plan on using it solely for Gaming and some regular stuff (Assignments, Presentations, Internet, etc.) And I hope that it would serve me for at least 1.5 years before I go for an upgrade.

Thank you!

Well, I would recommend going for a 500W 80+ Bronze for much cheaper, go for an FX 8320 and a M5A99X R2.0, a cooler master Hyper 212 EVO, and a GTX 760 or 270X. You'll get more for your money for gaming.

Et voila.

How about this build-

I used the AMD 6300 over the i5 4670k so I could get the GTX 770 in your budget since the cpu dosen't matter that much in gaming. The 770 is a vast improvement over the 7850.

Here are some examples- Battlefield 4 Ultra @ 1080p

7850- 35 fps

770- 55 fps

Crysis-

7850- 27 fps

770-  56 fps

I hope this helped and good luck with whatever you choose to go with!!!

I support this build all the way, it has amazing processing power, Goood cooling,(replace mobo with http://tinyurl.com/m8mhozt) Good Ram, solid storage, solid card, nice case and a reliable PSU.

Save some money and get ADATA Ram

This $80 power supply from thermaltake worked just fine for me until I went SLI

Storage alternative http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EIQTKAS/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Edit: the Ram was $60 when I bought it from amazon back in August now for whatever reason it is $86

The chip he wants is not compatible with that motherboard

I think he's referring to the 8320 build.

I like the Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 board since it has digital VRMs.
