First time build, gaming on Ultra

Hey guys, looking to build a PC of my own after being intolerant of these crappy stock HP ones. I once ordered from ibuypower (like a fool) and had a several thousand dollar rig that pretty much blew up on me about 7 years ago so I figured I'd do it right this time and build it myself. Looking for your input! Here's what I have right now: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1r3AR

  • Budget. How much are you willing to spend? I wouldn't want to spend more than $1500, spending less is better but I expect to spend more than $1000 at least.
  • Where do you live (what country),  and what currency do you use? I live in the US and use US Dollars.
  •   -Is there a retailer you prefer? Not specifically, I usually use newegg but I've ordered from other sites before without issues.
  • Do you need or already have peripherals? I've added them to my pcpartpicker list already.
  • What will you be using your future computer for? Gaming? Rendering? Mix of both? Or is this a home media PC? This would just be for gaming, my personal rig for internet purposes etc.
  • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking? I haven't overclocked in the past, if I did I doubt I'd push my parts as far as I've seen some people go. (I've seen people push the 3570 processor in my build to like 4.6 ghz but I'd be happy with 4.0 or 4.2 if I even felt like overclocking)
  • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future? No, I prefer air.
  • OS. Do you need a new one? I need windows 7, and have it in the pcpartpicker list.
  • Do you plan on Mining BTC either for yourself or Tek Syndicate? No, I do not mine bitcoins.

If you Game-

  • What kind of settings do you like or what FPS do you want to play at? Very High/Ultra. If I build a new computer I would want it to play today's games at Ultra and tomorrow's games at Ultra/possibly Very High.
  • What resolution will you be playing at? 1920x1080 (only using one monitor in the future as well)
  • What kind of games do you like to play? FPS, MMO, RTS, MOBA.
  • What specific game will you be playing (if applicable): The game I'm most excited for right now is Payday2. The beta is awesome but my crappy HP can't keep up AT ALL. (even on like the lowest settings)

If you Render or Edit things- I do not do any rendering.

If you don't have peripherals - I'm pretty set on the peripherals I have in the list above, I've used my friend's k90 and went with the next in line, since they're almost identical and the k90 is discontinued, and after seeing Logan and Pistol review the g600 I was sold on my next mouse.

  • What kind of keyboard do you prefer? Mechanical, scissor, membrane, etc. Mechanical - included keyboard of choice in pcpartpicker list.
  • What type of mouse-grip do you have? Palm, claw, combination? Palm - included mouse in pcpartpicker list.
  • what kind of games do you play? FPS, MMO, RTS, MOBA.
  • What size monitor are you looking for, and what resolution? Screen type (IPS, S-IPS, TN, etc.), hertz (60, 120, etc.) I currently use an Acer h243h, and am happy with it. The refresh rate is at 60 hertz right now, it can go up to 75 but I just stick with 60. The screen is 24" and I might possibly upgrade to an LED screen, but it isn't a pressing concern of mine.

Things I'm looking for advice on:

Hard drive(s): Should I go for a solid state hard drive? I haven't used them in the past, my friend recommends picking up one around 120gigs for booting/a select few games, but I'm not sure how much faster it would be if it would be worth it.

Video card: I really like nvidia so I'm hoping to stick with them. In an effort to keep playing the latest games I went for the 7 series. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with the 760 or 770, since it's about a $150 difference. I would possibly SLI in the future, although I'd be more inclined to SLI 760's than 770's.

Case: I've heard mixed things about this case, in particular the difficulty in getting tidy wiring going. Are there any other recommendations?

CPU Fan clearance vs RAM: I'd like to have access to all 4 ram slots to add more ram into the future, and in most pictures it seems that the hyper 212 evo blocks off the closest slot.

Motherboard: Since I'm not really an overclocker am I spending too much on this? I liked how it matched my choice of video card but I wasn't sure if it was really warranted in this situation.

PSU: I read some pretty great reviews for this PC P&C but I haven't had much experience with power supplies, I was wondering if you guys had any preferred units. In my currently selected case you can't see the PSU anyway so the color being different from the rest of the case wouldn't be too big of a deal.

RAM: Should I go for 16gb off the bat or should 8 work for now? If I go for 16 I'd change to the 8gigs (each) sticks of ram so I wouldn't have to worry about the cpu fan clearance I mentioned above.

Any input you guys have would be awesome!

Bang for buck the 8350 cant be beat. A gtx770 should see you through a few gens. SSD + HDD, nice case, gold psu, + your added perfs.

Has 8gb now with room for another 2 sticks later on. Build will let you have some fun overclocking as well.

The nzxt case chosen has really good cable management and top notch build quality.

Here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1r426 have a nice day.

EDIT:You don't need windows or keyboard/mouse,because that is the peasant way to use pc.

Either of those 2 build that deejeta or Cino, i second, you can't go wrong with either.  Though Cino has picked a board that will have more longevity because of PCI-E 3.0 capability with the Sabertooth Gen3 board.

a GTX770 is  $400 thats so crazy exepensive, for its performance. a Msi Radeon 7950 twin frozer, with a OC, can compete straight up with a GTX770. But that card is on sale at newegg for only $259... Also a cheaper Radeon 7970 GHZ edition, performs allmost equal.

But maybe its a good idea to wait a month or 2 because AMD´s new 9XXX series card are gonne be released, September / October. as far as i heard.
