First Rig $2,000. I need Everything!

Hi guys and girls,

I think this post was a little long so I have drastically reduced the size of it.

In short I need something that Is going to be able to handle the graphics of AAA title games like Crysis 3 ( I know nothing can really handle it but as close as possible),  be used as my home entertainment system. I will stream movies from my NAS whilst on my sofa using a Bluetooth keyboard/ touch pad. I'm interested in PS and will starting teaching myself how to use it on this computer. Not that bothered about Overclocking.

So MOBO with Bluetooth, high end GPU and CPU

  • Budget: $2.000
  • Where do you live: East Europe (from UK)
  •   -Is there a retailer you prefer? Nope
  • Do you need or already have peripherals? No I  have nothing not even a keyboard
  • What will you be using your future computer for? Heavy gaming and as a media centre for my home cinema (TV and surround system basic set up nothing extreme)
  • Do you overclock or want to get into overclocking? Not once I get it, maybe, just MAYBE later
  • Do you plan on going for custom watercooling now, or in the future? No.
  • OS. Do you need a new one? yes, Windows

this was tough to make for you... pick your own peripherals, cause its almost 100% preference. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1UhdH

There is no reason to get a I7 for just media consumption . I will let the experts tell you why , since I am more of a amd guy .

Why are you asking for a $2000 rig if you are in the uk?

Whats your budget (in great british pounds)

Hey thanks CK3 but you didn't need to include the monitor within the 2K but well done for managing that.

The reason I said i7 is for photoshop and other rendering programs I will start using in the next 6 months.

The reason I put it in US dollars and not GBP is that I live outside the UK in East Europe and i get paid in dollars. So better to use USD as its universal.

Nice build, I'd cut back on the PSU, drop the monitor as per Chesh, and use the funds for a bigger ssd and hdd.

I was wondering about that .
