I plan on spending about US $550 (not including OS)
I am going to be doing a mix of gaming and just everyday media use. I may use this for mostly games in the future though so I want something upgradeable.
With these parts I am looking to get about 60 fps give or take a few with 1080p on most games. I don't really know what games exactly I will play but I plan on getting Titanfall and Sniper Elite 3.
I have a monitor and a mouse but I need a keyboard. I don't want to spend more than $50 on a keyboard though. No ergonomical keyboards! I just want a regular basic mechanical keyboard that looks good. Nothing too clicky though.
Looks pretty solid, all I can say is sometimes 4GB of RAM can hurt just a bit and for gaming a 6 core CPU is not necessary. I dont know if you record gameplay or anything but if its purely gaming, I'd cut back on the CPU and put extra money maybe towards more RAM but I would definitely get a more beefy GPU. I would recommend parts but again, not sure what all you want out of it. This PC would be great for smaller, less intensive games and everyday use, even a bit of editing, but a well rounded PC can make some areas you wish to shine become dull in comparison to what you wanted. Best of luck!
Yeah, I was planning on recording a bit of gameplay if that matters. pxseidxn, that looks like a really cool keyboard and mouse combo for the price. Thanks! I was worried that only 4GB of RAM wouldn't be enough though... I wanted to come here before anything though.
Its fine, it's really fun helping people. The keyboard and mouse combo surprised me. The 8gb of ram will help with recording game play and speed up render times and any multi-tasking things you may be doing. Its a upgradeable build and will perform excellent.
I'd say the edits pxseidxn has done to the build make it much more suited to your needs. RAM helps recording as well as the CPU power but GPU is main thing used for rendering thr graphics and that step up shoudl get you where you want to be. Nice job.
Ok, I will but I need to get some money first. I only have about $20 but I am saving up. I may not be able to build it until Christmas though... I will try to sell some stuff I don't use on Ebay though.
