First PC build need help

should i get a bigger PSU?

I don't mind going a bit over the budget.

and i am planning to upgrade a lot since there are only 50W left.

Is this a good idea and does anyone know some good PSUs?

That is a quality PSU.You'd be fine with antec, corsair(not the CX line),xfx or seasonic PSUs. Are you intending on crossfiring in the future?

Altered your build slightly. Newegg has a crazy good deal on that  RAM right now. It's only for 72hours,so hurry if you want to get them

I am planning to crossfire and maybe have a 2-3 screen set up.

would that mobo be able to handle 2 gpus?

I may upgrade to Intel i5 later would that be worth my money or is it best to stick with AMD?

Here are the upgrades I would like to get in the future...

would the other stuff be able to cope with this?

The Asus Pro,you mean? Yes,it can handle two GPUs at full speeds.

I understand upgrading but you're talking about switching platforms. You'd have to pay for a new cpu and mobo and you'll end up paying more later on.Best you invest what you can now and stick with it.I'm saying this with your budget in mind,If you later come across some funds and you'd like to upgrade, then that's your choice.I have no say in that.

If you're comparing the 6300 with the 3570k on the basis of a crossfire setup, the 3570k would be more capable of handling two 280x cards. If this were a comparison between the 83xx and 3570k cards, then i wouldn't be worried. Both are fantastic and are more than capable of running dual gpus.

And oh,since you do intend on a dual gpu setup, best you invest in a quality psu. This is something that can last you a long time. Not entirely sure on the wattage needs of 2 280x's but i'd wager that a 850w psu should do the trick.Research on this, please.

OK thanks so much!
