First pc build, looking for input

This is my first time building a pc and the budget was around 1g so i have tried to piece together some parts that I think would work fine for a PC, it's also going to be used like 95% for gaming.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

Everything looks good here. Although there are some items I'm not familiar with, like that CPU cooler for example. But as long as you've looked up reviews and there's mostly positive feedback, Id say your good.

I agree you may wanna reconsider the cpu cooler. It may work fine but there are better options for the money. The classic cooler master evo will allow you to change fans or add an extra fan. There are several coolers roughly the same design style with a slightly cheaper price point.

Wow such quick feedback, and I definitely will take a closer look at cpu coolers and see if I can find anything else.
Thanks again for the feedback and still open to even more!

Avexir 2x8 red LED ( 99 cent ship)

Or four dollars more Avexir Blitz (no ship cost)

Also use pcpartpicker.com

For four dollars more I suppose you can't go wrong with an upgraded ram, great find!

Just google around, avexir is a non tested brand in my opinion. I have a set of core and so far no blue screens or anything weird. Hopefully they get made were most ram is made.

Also go back to the main avexir search on newegg and lookup the most expensive ram they have, some weird pricing.

So are you suggesting I should give avexir a shot or should I stick with something more reliable like hyperx?

No, go to uncharted waters. My experience has been positive.

Alright thanks for the awesome input! I'll definitely give it some deeper thought

Do it for the LEDs, everyone likes rice.

Amen

I reccomend an i5 with a gtx 970 or r9 290... if you plan to do mostly gaming this should help rather than going with a fx cpu

this is under 900$, good build, uses a gtx 960, if you have the budget jump up to 970

does not include any peripherals

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/axetehtree/saved/tD2frH IMO good (and good looking) build

I forgot to mention that the pc actually has to be 900 or less cut I also picked out a steal of a deal of a monitor for 100

What's the big differences between the motherboard I have picked out and the one you have?

the motherboard i picked is the higher chipset class, will be better supported, better quality, have the option for overclocking, where i do not think the one you picked will at all, it is more expensive, but motherboards are something i would recommend not going cheap on

also i chose the cpu cooler you will definitely want to go with, best one in the 30$ range

you have a 750 watt power supplly, that is not necessary, i chose a 600w from corsair

i picked the new samsung 850 pro sdd, it will be faster and more reliable than the one you picked

good choice with the 970 over the 960 i suggested thouuugh, if you need to go cheaper, make sure you get the 4GB version of the 960, if you do get a 960

Alright thank you for that!

i just added some edits to that last post but will copy here so you are sure to see.

good choice with the 970 over the 960 i suggested though, if you need to go cheaper, make sure you get the 4GB version of the 960, if you do get a 960, i accidentally chose a 2GB 960, go for 4GB or the 970
