First PC Build (Gaming and Heavy Editing)

Hi everyone! I finally decided to build my own PC. For the past 5 years I have been using a store bought Compaq. One Christmas my parents graciousy gifted me a GTX 460 SE and a new power supply since the stock one would not work, of course. My current employment is actually doing Youtube videos and my computer is showing its age with long render times in Premiere Pro. So I need an upgrade!

Here is what I have come up with so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/genericHenle/saved/1rVj

I really don't plan on overclocking too much. I would be lying if I said that isn't somewhat intimidating to me. I am currently worried about the heat sink being enough for the processor. Thanks for any input and sorry if I'm a complete idiot with this. First time builder.

If you're primarily editing and don't game with multiple monitors and stuff like that, maybe get a nvidia card, for the CUDA cores.

The ones I'd recommend are a GTX 670, and 660ti.

While I am mostly a console player(Mainly due to how crap my PC is). I would be doing a lot more gaming. Also I am going to feel like a complete idiot for asking this, but what exactly do CUDA cores do?

Best I could come up with.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PH3Q

May I ask why you went with those parts?

Because the intel chip is almost the best. EVGA has really good parts and warranty. The case comes with fans and removable dust filters, but if you like a different case go for it, because there are alot of good ones. Everything else should be fine.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the really quick replies! With the GPU you selected, the GTX 670. I should be able to play all modern games on high/ultra at 720p right?

Yes it will destroy everything.
