First PC build $700USD

Any opinions on this build? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/IamDolfin/saved/2YPO

It will mostly be used for school work and gaming. Games such as Battlefield, COD, and some other ones that catch my eye. It doesn't need to run everything at max settings, but decent performance would be nice.

I need to try and keep it at or under 700 USD, and mainly buy from Amazon, Newegg, Microcenter since I am not the one buying it, so I would rather them buy it from as few places as possible.

I don't need a mouse/keyboard/monitor, nor do I need an operating system.

this will play bf4 at medium settings at a decent framerate

I'd go with the first build. It may not be as 'future proof' as the FMx socket, but I think its perfect for what you want to do.
