Hello everyone, so i was planing on buying my first gaming pc some time ago but due to some issues i had to put that on hold. But now i have the money and im willing to spend it so yeah i was going to buy something like this
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tohp
but my budget got raised a bit now and its arround 1000 uds and would like some help to try and build the best pc I can get.
Well that build you had looks good but since you've got more money these are some other options.
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2iXxk added a SSD, better GPU and 2sticks of ram for dual channel and the fractal design case make putting it together a whole lot easier
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2iYOq Similar to the previous NO SSD but uprgraded to a 3570K and faster RAM plus you have $50 left in budget for extras.
If your willing to go AMD http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2iZ5L Benefit here is you get an SSD, and a 770 within your budget.
FYI, this is good time to buy parts because their are great sales for holiday so prices are fluctuating like crazy so you might be able to get more come even up to minute you order with some sales.
Dar24601 first link of idea is a good way to go imo..but again keep an eye out on even neweggs front page for daily deals and such..
honestly, the xfx cards have bad reviews and arent that fast, but for 256 dollars id go with the geforce gtx 760 2gb nvidia. it runs everything ultra no lag, and multi tasking with dual screens.
another small question, I am planning on buying EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card but for 10 dolars more I can get the SuperClocked one. I really dont know how that affects and if its worth it, any opinions on that?
Based on your budget I would go with something more along these lines.
Went with the 8320 for the CPU. It's on sale for 140 dollars and you can easily get the performance to 8350 levels with an overclock.
Cooler: Coolermaster Evo 212. One of the best air coolers for the money. Will allow to get a modest overclock on the 8320.
Motherboard: m5a99fx pro; which is one of the best motherboards for the 8350/8320 and it's reasonably priced.
Ram: g. skill rip jaws. Cas 9, 1600mhz, on sale, and with a combo deal
Storage: Kingston Hyperx 3k. One of the better SSDs and priced really well. WD Blue for games.
GPU: Asus 760. Good price to performance ratio and combos with the ram
Case: Fractal Arc Midi R2. There are cheaper cases but this one comes with tons of dust filters and 3 fans. I have the case and literally I do not have to clean the inside of my PC.
PSU: Rosewill Capstone 750w. This power supply is overkill for this rig and it's more expensive than a cheaper 80+ bronze PSU but not by much. This combos with the board for 30.00 off which puts the PSU at 90.00. This will allow you to SLI 760's later if you choose to.
You can definitely switch out the solid state drive and upgrade GPUs to the 770. It will trade blows with the 280x and you can actually find one to buy. AMD cards are hard to find and inflated in price at the moment.
