Hey everybody this is my first time building a desktop and I wanted to know what people thought of it. I wanted to build a pretty affordable machine that could handle anything and I think this could definitely do that. if anyone has any suggestions please respond. First of, is this for gaming? And is $600 your budget? If so, I'd suggest getting a cheaper case and/ or cheaper power supply. After that, you'll most likely be able to afford a 7790, or even a 7850, both of which are faster than the 7770. Even a 500W PSU would do, or a really good 450W PSU( not saying that you should get either of those two wattages. Just that if there's a decent 500W PSU/ really good 450W that is signficantly cheaper than PSUs with higher wattages, IMO it's a better decision to get that)
Looks good to me. You still haven't elaborated on whether this is for gaming or editing, but I guess it's fine both ways, since OpenCL is getting more support in editing programs.
EDIT: Lol, actually thought that the guy above me was the OP, so I added the " ...elaborated..." part
Its for gaming. I went for the higher wattage powersupply becasue I have heard to make sure you have enough wattage so I went with that one. But I agree I could shave some money here and there to make it cheaper and get the 7850
