ok so could you please recomend a better keyboard for nearly the same price.

what do you need a gaming keyboard for? the looks? because in most cases it makes no difference unless you type a lot, if your writing or programming. In most games it won't make much difference, and you could save some money this way.

Unless you know how it feels beforehand, or have the guarantee that it's reliable and feels good to the touch (like in the case of mechanical keyboards), you can't categorize keyboards. I've played games seriously on cheap membrane keyboards, as the mouse was more important (I have a razer diamondback since 2004, i've heard bad things about their keyboards, and newer mice that use the so-called cloud drivers, useless limitation in my opinion).

You could go with a quality Microsoft keyboard that fits your system's colour, maybe even a Sidewinder (their gaming line of peripherials), if it fits your liking.

I really want to recommend you a mechanical keyboard like the QPAD MK85, but it's out of your price range. You just can't go wrong with a mechanical keyboard.

For the price range, I've heard good things about the Roccat Arvo (mainly from gaming buddies)

Thanks for the help ill swap out the razor for another brand like what you recomended.

Exactly against my view, but to each his own. You could find a non-gaming keyboard suitable for everything, like cherry, or ibm with different key caps and switches.

The Logitech K120 is considered to be the ultimate cheapo around these parts. It will probably work fine. You might even find a working, scrapped keyboard in your (or someones) garage. (and if you're really lucky, it might just be an old mechanical one)

all of the PC looks great, as for the whole keyboard discussion no one can tell you what keyboard to get as each feels different and people like different things. iv got the microsoft sidewinder X4 decent price nice feel. backlit with option to turn it off, media buttons. not too flashy but its got what you need :)

Thanks what would be your opinions on this one?

cheap, backlit keys and multimedia keys across the to which I really like.
