First Computer RIG

Im building my first pc rig for christmas and I have two options and I'm not sure which one is better, and I figured you guy in the forum could help me out.

So here are the RIGS -

PC 1:

  • Cpu: Amd A10 5800k
  • Motherboard: ASRock FM2A75M-DGS
  • Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866
  • Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 Gig
  • Case: NZXT Tempest 210
  • PSU: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply
  • GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6670
  • Optical: Lite On

(Obviously the 6670 is crossfired with the AMD APU's Onboard GPU)  PC 2:

  1. Cpu: Intel Pentium G860 3.0GHz Dual-Core Processor
  2. Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V
  3. Memory: A-Data XPG Gaming Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
  4. Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500 Gig
  5. Case: NZXT Tempest 210
  6. PSU: Antec Vp-450
  7. GPU: Nvidia GTX 550 ti
  8. Optical: Lite On

Thanks to anyone who answers!- Alex

go with an fx-6300, and get a 7850 for the gpu, and ddr3-1600 ram

Mabey in the future, but for now I'm on a budget

dude, it's the same price, or close to it

edit: you can make up for it with the slower ram and a cheaper case

i suggest you save a little more. xfire isn't going to be that much of an improvement\

edit: and if you use pcpartpicker.com, you will save a ton

Nah, These are 400 - 450 Dollar RIGs the one your say will be 500 - 600 dollars.

Thank for your help, also which of the above pc' is better in your opinion, that the question i was really getting at.

#1, but listen to my suggestion, you'll be glad you did
