As you can tell from the subject, I'm looking to build my first proper rig, so I'd be really happy if you could help by reviewing the spec sheet. 

CPU : Intel Core i5 4690

MoBO : Asus H97 Plus

GPU : Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1

RAM : Kingston ValueRAM 8GB

PSU : Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W

CPU Cooler : Noctua NH D-14

SSD : Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

HDD : WD Blue 1TB

Case : Fractal Design Arc Midi R2

I see nothing wrong with what is listed, you're going to have a fantastic rig. Maybe upload some pics when finished :)
