I am last gen console gamer and I'm planning to build a gaming and MILD video editing PC early next year (Somewhere between February and April),because "Next Gen" consoles seem a bit overpriced for what they are, and I need a New PC anyway.

Here is what I do and don't need.

I don't need an ODD (Steam)

I don't need an OS (I have a friend with a copy of win7)

I don't need a Monitor

I don't need a Keyboard or Mouse

I don't want an Aftermarket Cooler

I am not fussed about CPU or GPU manufacturer

I would rather a HDD over an SSD

I need a wireless card.

I'd like it under 700$ AUD, not including postage, although I could stretch to 750$ if necessary

Cheapest half decent build

Depending on where abouts in oz you are shipping will be a killer. PCCG, PLE, MSY, Centrecom, Mwave and Netplus are decent to buy from.

With tech prices as high as they are here sometimes its better to buy a 2nd hand rig that is decent (older i5/i7 etc) then add a new mid-high end gpu.

Yeah deejeta, I'm in tasmania, and PCCG have the cheapest shipping, but they dont always have the best prices or range
