First Build

Lets start fresh I have $1440 (NZD) at the most to make a gaming computer. $1200 (USD). Could someone please help me get ideas what is should use and could you please make sure they ship to nz or are in nz!

you should get a 7870 or 7950, not a 660Ti, both the 7870 and 7950 outperform it by far and they cost about the same or less

also that motherboard already has Gigabit lan onboard, and getting a SSD and WD Scorpio is kind of pointless since you already have the SSD for fast file transfers, and seagate barracuda drives are just as fast as the WD Black series for less

Thanks man!! Anything else??

Asus 7870 or MSI 7870??

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131476 i would go with powercolor, faster at stock than either Asus or MSI

as for anything else, i would drop the dedicated sound card as onboard sound is more than adequate for almost all purposes, and if you ever need higher quality sound you can always use HDMI from your graphics card which can do sound output

I am from New Zealand and new egg doesn't send to nz :(

sorry about that, but look for the powercolor 7870 if you can find it around the same price as the MSI or Asus cards

Don't get scorpio, that's there mobile hard drive series. Get like a Seagate Barracuda or just a normal WD blue or black.

2 x 4G Ram instead of 2 x 8G.

I also a agree on the AMD GPU, XFX has a 7950 that's 290$ with rebate that looks pretty nice, I've been eyeing it up for my build actually on NCIX.

750Watt PSU might be a better idiea for future-proofage. XFX has a silver certified modular 750 that's 85$ shipped with rebate on NCIX also.

Seagate has a barracuda 1Tb for 65$ on NCIX.

Your build isn't bad or anything though besides the Scorpio black and no need for the wireless card, just in my opinion some improvements.

It like $600 to $400

Could you make me a system for around about the same amout of money this is?? please and thank you and could you do it for New Zealand too please

These prices are crazy haha, 440$ for a 7870?!~?

http://pcpartpicker.com/nz/p/tlUY It's a little over but if it matters that much you can mess with it because I really am not feelin it.

I know!!

Actually the 660ti outperforms both of those.
