First build - very cheap w/o the gpu

Hello  everyone, im on a budget... and I want to make a PC that I can upgrade on later. Im on the Philippines and parts are very limited. the prices shown are converted from PHP to USD from google

I will buy this parts first and use my old GPU and buy the GPU next time

CPU: Intel Pentium G2030 (so I can upgrade to 3570k next time)                          $60.58

MoBo: Asrock B75M-DGS R2.0                                                                             $59.44

Memory: Kingston 4GB DDR3 PC1333 or GSKILL RIPJAWS 4GBx2 1600MHz     $39.55 or 89.15

PSU: Aerocool Strike X 500W 80+ Bronze or Antec HCG-620M 80+ Bronze          $50.29 or 100.59

I Have Western Digital Blue 1TB and Nvidia 8800GT (i think) my old pc is lga 775 so I cant scrap parts there

GPU:

  • EVGA GTX 650Ti 1GB                    $155.45
  • EVGA GTX 650TI Boost SC            $197.74
  • MSI GTX660Ti Twin Frozor Vi         $292.61
  • Powercolor HD7950 3GB DDR5      $306.32
  • EVGA GTX770 SC ACX cooler        $490.34

after the gpu I will upgrade the parts like the CPU then the board and everything else..

I can go with Haswell

same part except board and CPU

CPU: intel core i3-4130                                              $122.30

MOBO: Asrock H81M-DGS                                        $57.15

THANK YOU FOR THE FEEDBACK!!!

i cant remember if i watched it on a tek syn video or if it was linus(i want to say it was linus) but one of teh biggest wastes you can do is buy cheaper and then upgrade soon.  I'm assuming you would upgrade your cpu soon since you are talking about haswell and since its only $60 i would just wait a little longer save up and buy the haswell.  what would you do with the g2030 anyway? try to sell it? CHances are it'll be very hard to find someone to buy it so you wasted 60 bucks because you didn't wait a week

hope this helps

Thanks mufforz, yeah I know that, kinda depressing cause I'm eager to play, but if I go with the 4670k it  would cost me $247.49 or 3570 for $213.28.

If I go that way can I still use the board I posted on here?

I was planning on leaving the used parts when I upgrade to my younger brothers

that's all quality parts to build with and it's super cheap (assuming you're not going to be picky about a modular PSU on your budget)...

the 4670k  (1150 socket)  will work with that bored the 3570 (1155 socket) wont.
