First build: Powerfull and long lasting

'Sup guys! I've been a fan of Tek Syndicate for a while now but never made it to the forums. However now that it's time for me to build a new rig I feel I can trust this community for some advise.

PURPOSE:

I mainly want this rig as a serious gaming rig but also want to get into overclocking. I currently do not render video and probably won't in any forseeable future. But if I ever do, this beast should be able to handle it.

BUT: above and beyond all this thing has to last BIG time. My previous rig finaly died on me after over 7 jears of loyal service and it had adequate performance till the very end.

PART LIST:

I came up with this as my new system: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1hgyu

Cost should be around 2000 euro where I live (Belgium). Again, most of these components were chosen to last and for their quality. I know I probably could get away with something more like a 1000 system. However If anyone can suggest equal parts for lower price they are certainly more than welcome to!

Since this is my first build, I obviously want to run this by you guys just to check if all components match and no missmatches occur in the smaller details (I already managed to chose too high a voltage RAM for the Hasswell architecture).

GPU

The thing I doubted about the most is (are) the graphics card(s). I'm still not sure about that one. I opted to go the double card route because: It fits in the 2000 budget and still has a managable power consumption (important!). Many people say you should go with the best single card you can get but if I then upgrade to a dual later on TDP will be through the roof.

PSU

750W is the recomended minimum power for this system. Will it be enough? (especially if I want to get into OC) All signs seem to point out that it will but still... caution is better than repair.

Last is the CPU cooler. I kinda went crazy with the H100i just beacause I can, and because it might be good for OC, but you're welcome to tell me if this is just too much cooler for what I'll be doing with this thing.

Periferals are still good to go. Current display is 1680x1050 and might be replaced in the near future.

This should last a very long time with 8 cores and a titan. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1hmsx
