First Build Need Help on Components

I'm looking for a PC that can edit HD video(Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas) and still play games like Battlefield on an single 1920x1080 monitor. I'm still very confused on whether I should get the i5 or the i7.The PC I had before was a old Toshiba which I would play games like NBA2k on low settings.(Never could play Battlefield) It was so bad it couldn't even play minecraft. Since I live in Japan the prices are a bit off so to make things easier, it will be 100yen=$1

This is the build so far:

Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z77X-UD3H 11000Yen=$110

CPU: i7 3770: 23000Yen= $230

this is where I'm confused if I go with a 3770k, I'll need to invest in an aftermarket cooler which makes it a little to expensive. On the other hand, I can get the i5 3570k for 18000Yen=$180 making room for an aftermarket cooler. The only thing stopping me from the 3570k is the video editing performance which I am unsure of.

GPU: HIS IceQ 7850 18000 Yen= $180

Will this interfere with Premiere or Vegas? Should I get the 560ti which is $20 more expensive?

Memory: 16gb Corsair Vengeance  2 8gb sticks CAS 10 6000yen= $60

SSD: Samsung 830 128gb 7000yen=$70

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 5500yen=$55

PSU: Silverstone Strider Plus 750W 80 Plus Silver 8000yen=$80

Case: Rosewill Blackhawk 7500yen= $75 OR Corsair 400r (same price)

TOTAL: 86000Yen=$860

I know that the LGA2011 platform is more expensive but if you do some more serious and regular editing I think that would be worth to consider.

And from what I know the hyperthreading on the i7 is really usefull for most editing programs so I would for that, you dont really have to overclock it right away so I would go for the i7 and use the stock cooler for a little while until you have the money for an aftermarket cooler..

from a quick google search I found that, for Premier, Nvidia is better because of cuda, and I think vegas supports that too..

so you should get the i7 (and prefferably on the 2011 platform) stick with the stock cooler and get a geforce 650ti or 660ti if you have the money.. (if you get a 650ti or 660ti, you should get a non-refference design card and cooler, from what I know)

good SSD, PSU is good from what I know and the case is mostly what your taste is..

Im not an expert but this is my 5 cents.. :)

Thanks for the quick reply! I looked into the lga 2011 platform market and the i7 3820 is the same price as the 3770. But the cheapest X79 motherboard I can find is the Asrock X79 Extreme 4-m I like the quad channel memory but on the other hand, I don't want an crappy motherboard. I might spend the extra $20 and get 3770k if I'm going to choose the lga 1155 platform and go for the 650ti... So I shouldn't get i5

I think if you are planning on doing a lot of video rendering I would go with the i7 if only for the hyperthreading. You can get hyperthreading in an i3 or i7 but not an i5. Me thinks Intel was considering this. A lower end i7 with a good quality X79 board is the way I would go. Your motherboard is the heard and CPU is the soul of your build. I would not cheap out on my motherboard for any reason.

The lower end i7 lga 2011 is the same price as the i7 3770 lga 1155 and a quality X79 motherboard will cost a lot. I don't think I can go with the X79 due to the price... if I had money to get a quality X79 board I could buy a high end z77 mobo and a water cooler. Thanks for the suggestions though :)
