First build, need a review and mobo suggestion

Hello there. I'm building my first PC as an upgrade to my HP pavillion m8330f. Ive already picked out most of the parts, but I don't really know what to do for a motherboard. I'm not really familiar with those at all. Obviously I need something that will work with the parts (list below.) I may do some light overclocking somewhere down the line, but probably not initially.

I also am in need of an HDD 1TB-2TB. The reason I haven't chosen one is because the reviews of all the ones on newegg (the site I'm buying all the parts) are generally sucky.

Anyways, with my budget, I'm already at $873.94 and would like to keep that under 1200 including the os. Also please let me know if I'm choosing any sucky parts or if something is incompatible.

Thanks for the help!

maybe consider some black or red ram to go with that case like some corsair vengence.  thats a little ocd but if you want but other wise these are great parts you have choosen.  for the hard drive a 1tb western digital blue would be good or a 3tb western digital red if you are worred about it lasting since its enterprise grade.
