First build, ideas?

Case: BitFenix Merc Beta

PSU: RAIDMAX - RMX-500W8-REP 500W

Motherboard: MSI - 760GM-P21 (FX) - AM3+, 2xDDRIII, 1xPCIEx16 2.0

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Six Core 2.7GHz

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX550TI Pcie-x2.0 1024MB DDR5 192bit

RAM: 2x Kingston - KHX1600C9AD3B1/2G - DDR III 2GB, 1600 MHz

HDD: SEAGATE Barracuda 7200.12 (3.5" ,1TB,32MB,SATA III-600)

 

These parts are mostly from local IT Shops. My budget is arround $550, basicly around 4 months of work (just started).

I mostly want to know if the components will work well together and if anything can be improved yet staying on budget.

don't go with raidmax, terrible PSUs, if you can get the Rosewill 530w Green Series PSU that would be much better

I reckon for the ram get at LEAST 4Gb, not 2Gb. 
4 gigs of ram is like $10-20 these days, really cheap.
And yeah don't go with Raidmax or Coolermaster for the PSU. Corsair, Rosewill, Antec, Seasonic, etc. Corsairs CX-500 is about $50-$60 on Amazon.com. Everything else is good for $550
