First Build, Gaming PC. Suggestions?

Attempting my first build here, let me know what you all think, max budget is 1500.

Case: Rosewill THOR V2 Full Tower

MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

CPU: AMD FX-8350

COOLER: NZXT Kraken X60

GPU: MSI Twin Frozr 3 Radeon HD 7950 3GB

RAM: G Skill Sniper Series 8GB(2x4) 1866 9-10-9-28

SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB

HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB

OPTICAL: ASUS Black 12x BD-R

PSU: OCZ Z Series 1000W 80 Plus Gold Modular PSU

Try this one, basically everything is better or the same. Well, except for the name brand acclaim of the power supply, but unless you really intend on stuffing a couple more Radeon 7970's into that, you really don't need that much. 

The build he posted is fine, that case has reviewed well, as has the psu. I would step down in size though you don't need 1000watts.

Replace the 7950 with a 7970ghz with the money you're not spend on that psu.

Also the kraken is a waste of money imo. Just buy a phnateks air cooler.

Thanks for all the input guys, i already purchased the case and i am happy with the layout and cooling options, i think i will downgrade the psu a little and upgrade the gpu.
