-First Build- Editing Rig [<$500]

Hey Community,

I've been without a personal computer for many months, this year has been the worst year of my life. I lost a parent who I was caring for and when they passed, I had no where to live. So, I moved in with my very good friend who was looking for a roommate at the time, so I've been trying to get my life back together and I want to start edting again (my computer was damage and I didn't have the money to get it repair) which could be better spend on something I need for some jobs like music videos and a show a friend whats to shoot.

So, I've got a budget of $500 or less to make a editing rig, it's one of my passion to make movies/shows that people enjoy, I know my budget isn't that great but I have a friend who builds PC but doens't have a clue on what to do for a editing rig.

Note: I'm in Austraila, but don't worry if it goes pass the budget by a little.

Thanks you for reading and happy hoildays from a 20 dude from Aus!

cyou need cuda and cores and mem

this is the best i can do http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sytD

and this will have less where it counts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/syz0

or you go i3 for quick sync

Thank you so much!

I might go $600 route you pick but you are amazing!

I wouldnt go with such an expensive video card for editing...

His will beat mine any day for gaming but for rendering not.

<Edit> just after posting this i realised you need cuda so if you can get a 550 or a 650 for a good price.

And if you do that it will be around 600 euros but thats the best i can do.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sAFw link with the 650.

the 550 and 650 have less cuda cores. and the more cuda cores the faster rendering is.

you can quantify the results.

Just a heads up on msy.com it has some of the best prices in australia.

Get the 8-core with a CUDA gpu
