It looks pretty good. If you're willing to spend a few more bucks, you might want to get 16GB of RAM (8GB sticks= more room for expansion) or ditch the hard drive and get a 240/256GB SSD.

i may just add a 120gb ssd but i like to have lots of music so i want 1tb or at least 500g
Actually, all you really should change is the CPU to this one. Gaming doesn't need six cores, so four will suit your needs better
Absolutely no need for 16GB of RAM for just gaming. And there really isn't too much of a need for an SSD either, unless you want to boot up the PC faster and you don't like having to defrag every now and then
The only other thing I would recommend is waiting for some deals on those items as it nears Boxing Day and you could save some money that can be put towards games on Steam for your new system
Because of Vishera's architecture, six cores it really only somewhere between four and five, not six straight-up cores. The CPU he chose is 32-nm and gets lower temps and more overclocking ability compared to the Phenom II. I was only recommending 16GB of RAM for expandability. I realize that it is unnecessary for gaming, it was only an expandability recommendation. SSDs provide pros other than just faster boot up times as well. They last longer, consume less power, are less likely to die, create less heat, and take up less room.
Looks good im getting the same cpu :) if u can find either a 7850, 7870, 7950 or a 7970 on sale (might have to wait till a few days after christmas (im british) get it because it will really help for gaming :) and 8gb of ram is enough but if u look at what speed ur mobo can handle upgrade the speed of the ram from 1600 :)
hope i helped
