Hello,

can you give me some suggestions ? I know a good firewall is based on rules... but i don't trust WIN10 firewall, and the custom one i have i think is using the WIN10 rules :(

can you recommend me something ?

I want to set all traffic to ZERO inbound/outbound and have my firewall ask each time a new application wants to go out and in (also port number would be good to know), also, easy to manage rules and make the firewall remember settings. The current WIN10 firewall interface is sooooooooo outdated (i don't think it got a nice overhaul since WIN XP)

Also, this is what a firewall does inheritly with Implicit Deny, and these rules are called ACL's (Access Control Lists)

This might not be what you are looking for, but have you heard of pfSense?

How so, this does everything OP asked for. OP didn't state he/she wanted a hardware device and was complaining about windows firewall gui being bad. So I'm guessing he wanted a host based firewall with the aforementioned features.

PFsense may not be easy to someone who is not very network admin savvy.
