firefox keeps freezing, and it's probably caused by flash. this has happend with many versions of both ff and flash. it unfreezes when I kill the flash process.
has anyone experienced the same, or have a solution? (I'm not switching to chrome)
I used to have this problem quite fequently. It stopped over time. I just concluded that Flash sucks balls.
There might be a solution, but I never found one and it just went away eventually.
You might want to try one of Mozilla's beta browsers and perhaps that will change something.
I think I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. perhaps it's because of some of the add-ons I run?
has anyone else experienced this? if so, are running a lot of add-ons?
I've run firefox for about 24 hours now with downthemall disabled. still no freeze nor crash.
run a 64 bit recompile

right click on a flash video. go to properties, and click through the tabs until yo usee hardware acceleration. disable it.
flash sucks. that is all.
dissabling hardware accelration has never worked.
