When I search the forums, with cmd+ F, I get this annoying search popup from the forum.
How does this make you feel?

If that's what you mean. Otherwise it'll use the forum search function if you use the search shortcut here.
Just to be absolutely clear, I'm dead serious about this. This search behavior is super annoying to me. And the response time is rather slow compared to regular Chrome search.
What does this search pop-up look like?
There's no way of turning off the search function command on the forums that I know of so instead you'll have to use the drop down on the top right, the image I posted shows where you can find it on the drop down list and it will bring up Chromes built in search function rather than Tek Syndicates forum search function.

I'm using Chrome on the Mac. This happens when I press CMD + F.
Yeah I keep trying to find posts to reference from and I could search the EXACT TITLE and it comes back with some bullshit from 2008 and nothing is even in order.

ctrl+f works perfectly fine.
Does mac not have control? Seriously I don't know, I don't use apple.
hmm the traditional ctrl+f works just find on windows with chrome and firefox.
Mac keyboards have a 'command' key and I believe command+f should be the equivalent of ctrl+f.

That's correct.
Command + F is the search shortcut in OS X. It's the same as pressing ctrl+f on windows.
