I finally played Dead Rising 2 wish I hadn’t. I have heard a lot of great thing’s about the Dead Rising series so I thought I would go ahead and give this a try before I get Dead Rising 3. I’m glad I did so I could see this catastrophic sad excuse of a game. How come people have been saying this is a great game because it is NOT!!! If you played through this game for more than 20 minutes you deserve a medal or for somebody to come test your mental awareness to see if you understand pure heaping garbage. So Capcom or should I say Crapcom what makes a great game in your opinion. A timer that counts down the whole game? That seem’s to be a solid component with most Crapcom game’s. That is one of the reason’s I hated Lost planet it had that darn counter. Dead rising 2 does start out with some great potential but then it become’s one of the most dull game’s I have played.You see the same couple of zombie’s in a huge group. It would be different if the zombie’s where actually challenging but I could walk past them without them even attacking me. I beat half the game with only killing 40 zombie’s the A.I is just stupid in this game, you do have to save people in the game and it is a daunting task for them just to follow you the right way they alway’s end up walking into a group of about 100 zombie’s and die, am I surprised…..NO. I had no clear idea of what i was supposed to do in this game at some point’s. There is no clear mission log in the game. The game might be a little bit more playable if this component existed but it doesn’t.
You have to constantly be on the search for this medicine for your daughter or she become’s a zombie. The weapon design is predictable and lame. Something that really irritate’s me is that the weapon doesn’t last the long often leaving you in the middle of a horde of zombie’s You can not really roam around the game for long without the timer reminding constantly that the military will be here soon. Crapcom I don’t want a timer in my game it take’s away from the game. Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask did it but I loved that game and you could slow the timer down and even reset it. With Dead rising 2 the game is over and you have to start all over again can I say *FACEPALM* seriously Crapcom some of the game’s you put out are just trash and this one is at the bottom of that trash pile.
