Finalizing Build!

Hey,

I've been looking round at Combinations and Cases i like and i have finally came up with a build thanks to copperman In the way of finding my pc this is what i've got

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/O0Lu

I want the intel build to upgrade later with an i7 when i get the money.

Budget £560/580

All info i might of missed about these certain products let me know :)

Thanks in Advance!

You are in the UK and you spelt finalising with a 'z'! Tsk tsk!

Two questions:

1) How sure are you that you want to go Intel? In that price range you could get an AMD with a lot more cores - the way games are going this will make a measurable difference.

2) Why 6gb of ram in three dimms? It is always better to go in multiples of two with your dimms. Get either two 2gb dimms or two 4gb dimms.

Humm ive never advised anyone to buy a i3 for gameing when the phenom is just a better chip in every way over a i3 for gameing.

And 3x stick kits only work well on highend motherboards that support triple channel memory configurations.

If you plan on upgradeing to a i7 you may whant to think about buying a more powerfull psu now so you dont have to when you upgrade

lol i googled it it was spelt with a Z haha.

I just wanted an Intel CPU, I don't know how to Match amd cpu with mobo because they always seem the same price as an intel when i do it and X4 965 is really good my friend got 1 and says he only needs to only update his gpu after 2 years of having it

Give some suggestions About AMD CPU's and Mobo Combo's budget for that is £150-160

Thank you very much! Miskonius! Changed the Board to Asrock Extreme3 970 and power supply/ Didnt want to pay £4.00 Delivery lol

With an FX-6300 that machine will fly compared to an i3 - and for a couple of years for sure.

I have an FX-6300 based machine with a small overclock (4ghz) and a weaker gpu than yours (I have a GTX 560Ti) and I can run virtually any game on high or ultra at 1080p.

Happy gaming!

you should stay with mb and psy that i sugested, that asrock is a crap...

Yes i have changed the Mobo to an Asus M5A97 R2.0

Will an phenom ii x6 1045t be a better choice instead of the FX 6300?

No, same thing goes for Asus M5A97 R2.0

if you are so about saving 10 pounds dont buy optical drive.

borrow it from some friend you only need it for OS install anyways...

Ive swapped back to the 990 gigabyte that you selected and i already have monitor and keyboard but need a bigger mouse lol

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/PwS0 amd build faar faar better than yours,u'll only thank me later

if you want to save more get fx6300 with 6 cores

You forgot the ram :P

If u want to stick with intel then get a 650ti boost and a i5 3570k or 2500k.  If u want amd (which will get u a better system, get an fx8350 and a 7870

the board i suggested is 970 Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 , what is your budget for the mouse?

Oo really lol..... Well it was only like Few pounds more so why not and around 20-30 pounds i guess.

For people with big hands Cooler Master Sentinel Storm Z3ro-G or Cooler Master Sentinel Storm Advance II, nothing else really does the job...
