Finalising my build.. help!

hi guys.. need some help finalising my build.

was brought to my attention just as i was building my pc:

so i went ahead and changed it after many people gave me the same advice to:

i was wondering if firstly this is a good build and secondly which processor to go for.

i am going to be gaming on a single monitor (with a second hooked up purely for browsing etc..) and editing and streaming.. (already have an ssd for my os and choice games/programs)

any advice right now would be super helpful!!

Your ram could do with running at 1866mhz minimum and having a CAS latency of 11. That will drastically improve the PC's performance.

The first Build you listed is better and the ivy bridge does more percore is why Its better it also uses less power but you will give up the x79 platform so no quad channel memory and stuff

the difference in frames between these 2 computers in games is 1-3 frames. so pick up whatever has better reviews on stability, OC, and ect.

any good suggestions for ram? is "the beast" really worth the money?

im probably looking to grab another 7970 down the line.. does that effect the choice of cpu at all?
