Finalising amd rig comment please

finally decided to go with these parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KW2n please suggest a budget psu my budget can be maxed out to 1100$..

This is so much better, please allow me to save you from yourself.

RAM is cheaper yet the same speed; SSD is cheaper, yet the same speed; cooler is only marginally more expensive, yet so much better; graphics card is simply better; motherboard still is very good, and is cheaper; case is cheaper, happens to look better (in my humble opinion); etc.

Edit: ^ Agreed on this build.^

Corsair CX600 for about $50 is not bad. Love Corsair. xD

In my opinion, you should hold off on the SSD for now and use the money towards a GTX 660 instead of the GTX 650.

Just a suggestion! ^-^

everything seems good but i want to keep asus formula z mobo

Yeah, I managed a GTX 660 Ti in this build while still keeping an SSD.

everything seems good but i want to keep asus formula z mobo

Any particular reason when it happens to cost you a really huge graphics card cut? Unless you are planning on going for some record overclocks, you really don't need that motherboard, and if you save some money there, then you can actually have nice things, because that MSI board is no slouch, it just isn't designed for bonkers overclocks, I think it has an 8+2 power phase...

but audio on that mobo is great it is the only board having intel fast lan nd basically it is rog board,nd i m a total geek, thought for sabertooth its not bad though ur gpu seem very good suggestion..i might think of upgrading to ssd later on

i found this

why would you keep the crosshair board? its to expensive, and for gaming it doesnt give you better perfomance, better schwimp on that board and buy a 7950 card.

with crosshair board:

you can also take a cheaper water cooling, like the coolermaster saidom.

you can better buy a 7950 card and buy an ssd later. just for gaming.

if you buy a ssd you gonne install windows on it thats it , game gonne be installed on the baracude so then the ssd faster loading times, dont make sence

Then please geek out over this: intel fast LAN still won't make a difference unless your internet connection is faster than, say, 500 Mb/s. Which, unless you happen to have google fiber, isn't possible. Saying it's a ROG board means nothing if you don't plan on spending enough money to really make use of it, because you've got to get a very, very expensive graphics card be be able to use the soldered voltage regulation within the BIOS, and for the rest of it, if you are that terribly concerned about the sound quality, then buy a sound card. On board will suffice for the greater majority of sub-$120 headphones or speakers. Please don't overspend just because of the clout that the ROG badge has. It really, really isn't worth it unless you plan on going for world records or something. Or you have a ROG graphics card. Neither of which appear to be the case, as you don't have plans listed for a custom nitrogen cup, or a ROG series graphics card.

im convinced....what about sabertooth....asking because i will definately gonna overclock nd lastly all gpu's support pcie 3 but mobos support pcie 2,does that make any difference,i agree with mistryangel's rig

Asus crosshair

Asus Sabbertooth

Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0

those 3 boards are all great for overclocking. the specs are practaley the same, (sorry for bad english)

the M5A99FX pro 2.0 is the board logan used in the oc movie FX8350 oc vs i7-3770K oc

he said the oc fuetures othe that board where very great :)

Don't go with the Sabertooth for overclocking, as it has just as much potential as the MSI board I recommended. The Sabertooth really isn't intended for overclocking, it is better suited for crazy stability.

@mndless logan did use sabertooth for overclocking,he first used msi board bt he did mention he bricked it while overclocking coz bios had been nerved

intel fast lan is for more than just a wan connection.. it's for fast lan transfers.. which is nice.. if you only have once pc then i guess it doesn't matter much... ROG mobos suck this generation... every single one of them are overpriced garbage with terrible reviews except from the people whom they sponsored, the only one i'm aware of that even seems to work the way it should or doesn't have some issues is the maximus v gene.

Sabbertooth

8 sata 6.0 ports and 4 usb 3.0 ports

M5A99FX pro r 2.0

7 sata 6 ports and 2 usb 3.0 ports.

But the M5A99FX pro supports higher overclock memory.upto 2133 mhz

the rest of the fuetures are the same.

but yeah the crosshair formula, has the specs of the pro, and has a nices soundchip, en 4 usb 3.0 ports.and supporting ramm speeds to 2400 mhz

pci-e 3.0 doesnt support by any  amd board but iit will be comming soon.

but its just a higher number total useless. cause games dont eaven use the full band wide from 2.0

that is not correct, the sabertooth is meant for overclocking(just look at it's power phase) and its reviews.. I'm also using one and can speak for it. not only is it stable but you can overclock the shit out of it. it doesn't have fancy software to auto-overclock it like the p8z77 series. You simply have to manually overclock. i prefer crazy stability with my overclocks, don't you?

Nerfed, a play on the famous american brand of foam and plastic toys that resemble weapons. Basically he's saying that something about the BIOS was weird, possibly that they sent him a test version or that they had disabled some features. Either way, I can't imagine that it is particularly difficult to overclock the AMD FX chips, since the Phenom II are so crazy easy to get good overclocks on. You can occassionally get over 50% overclock. So each board is different, but the idea of using the Sabertooth for overclocks is just painful, as it doesn't even have native support for particularly fast RAM.

Also, just looked at the sound quality on the board I recommended, it has really nice sampling rates and bitrates, and an acceptable noise/signal ratio.

@mistryangel please tell me about pcie 3 and pcie2 difference and why sabertooth supports raid and m5a99fx does not, what is benifit of raid support

theoratecly pci-e 3.0 has better coding scadules if im writing this correct.. it can transfer 2 times the speed of the pci-e 2.0 standard. so in theory that comes to 32GB/s and transfer bandwide of pci-e 2.0 is 16GB/s. thats the main diffrence..

but it will take a very long time for games to come at those  band wide speeds.

and maybe they would never come there
