Final Confirmation

OK,

So I've been watching a ridiculous amount of parts reviews, build videos, reading into user reviews etc and I've finally decided on a partlist below

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/amukid92/saved/1m58

I've actually already bought the kingston beast clocked at 2400mhz, so ignore the one in the list, but I need final confirmation from everyone, is the parts I've chosen good enough and should I change anything

I'm literally ready to start making orders for each inidividual part, since theres no newegg in UK, so I'm pretty much stuck with ordering from 5 different stores

I need some last minute confirmation

Thanks all

Will you be editing?

some editing yes

I go for 7970 but if you insist on 680gtx

I'd advise going for either this:

Or

If you will be doing a considerable amount of editing go for the 3770k otherwise, the 8350 would be perfect.

That build fills me with envy. Make it happen.

Sweet

Thanks

Is the asus sabertooth better then the msi z77a-gd65?

I've gone for the msi motherboard based on Logans advice and the fact that its one of the few that would support the kingston beast ram that I've already bought and has been factory clocked to 2400mhz.

I'm actually stuck between evga 680 sli or 7970 crossfire, I'm hoping to have a 3 monitor setup in the near future and I want to be able to overclock the gpu's as well so what would you recommend?

Also, I know everyone says that the sapphire version of the 7970 is the way forward, but I've had my eye on the asus model. Opinions?

I'm pretty much a noob to all this, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

PS

I wanted to add one more thing,

Am I missing anything?

This is going to be my first build, so I just wanted to know if there is anything else that I need, that I am not aware of, such as cables, screw drivers, fans etc

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

On the 7970 xfire vs. 680 SLI, from what I have read the 7970 xfire dominates. I'll see if I can find the benchmarks for you...

If I do I'll edit them in.

Thanks.

The main reason I've been looking at the evga 680 is because I loved it as soon as I saw it, but I realise that the 7970 not only kills it, it's cheaper as well.

The only dilemma I have now, is which version of the 7970 I should get.

Sapphire or maybe gigabyte, imo sapphire is the best
